Why study French?
Have you ever wondered what the fuss was all about? You already know Cantonese and English and most of you can also speak Mandarin. So why bother to learn yet another foreign language?
Well, one of the obvious reasons will pop up in the mind of all those among you who spent a few days in Paris: if you want to stay in France even for only a few days, you simply must speak at least a few words in French. Most French people do not speak English, even though many of them learned (or at least were taught) it in secondary school... and forgot it immediately afterwards!
